Amanda was born and raised in Mainland China. She lived in Canada and Hong Kong for the past 18 years where she finds herself a strong sense of belonging. 

A strong advocate for community inclusion and an avid art lover, Amanda founded Arts for Good Foundation and championed arts as an important common ground for fostering a diverse and inclusive society. She envisions arts and culture being the key to addressing social polarisation and cultural divisions in Hong Kong. She deeply believes in arts for all, and strives to provide equal access to arts, particularly for students from polarised communities. By providing high quality and tailor-made art viewing, arts-integrated learning and service learning opportunities for students in Hong Kong, she aspires to foster positive changes for our future generations and broaden their perspectives of Hong Kong and the world. 

Prior to Arts for Good Foundation, Amanda worked in the commercial sector in Canada, and was an education researcher with the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and the Hong Kong Academy of Gifted Education. She holds a Master’s degree in Recreation, Tourism Policy and Planning, and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
