Body Diversity

Three documentaries were made with eight Year 11 students from the Chinese International School (CIS) and five students from The University of Hong Kong.

The stories about Rabi Yim share two different perspectives about how Rabi and her peers in wheelchairs thrived in Hong Kong. By telling her stories of resilience, beauty, and hope beyond the barriers she has overcome, we inspired the participants and viewers that every door marks a new challenge and every step forward requires persistence and ingenuity. Another document is about Christy Cheung who survived and thrived after battling breast cancer at the age of 33. Through these three documentaries, we raised awareness of body diversity and inclusion, particularly for those who have undergone dramatic changes in life.

We are educating our future generations with ethical and respectful minds and profound empathy towards people with different needs and inspiring them to make positive and human-centred changes in their future academic and professional endeavours.
